How it works

  1. Choose a short clip.
  2. Set format (GIF or animated WebP), fps, max width, and loop count.
  3. Download the animation. GIF files start with GIF8; WebP files are RIFF WEBP.

Palette GIF is lossy. Long clips are refused by duration limits.

Supported inputs and outputs

Questions and answers

Can I rename an MP4 to .gif?

No. The tool muxes a real GIF or WebP.
