How it works

  2. To AVIF encodes 8-bit libavif. From AVIF writes PNG.
  3. Download a new file. Canvas WebP/PNG is never labeled as AVIF.

10-bit is not in this pack. HEIC is a different, unsupported codec.

Questions and answers

Is a renamed JPEG AVIF?

No. The encoder writes a real AVIF and reopens it.
